We began with a challenge:

“How can we create a universal IEM that feels and fits like a custom in-ear monitor—without compromising sound quality?"

 

A New Standard for Universal IEM Fit

To answer that question, we partnered with Freebit® of Norway, integrating their patented ear-interface system—originally developed for high-performance sports earphones—into our R1 design. This allowed us to deliver secure, stable, and comfortable IEMs that stay put, even during movement-heavy performances or long listening sessions.

But we didn’t stop there. Most universal IEMs place their MMCX cable connectors at the top, where branding usually sits. We flipped the script—placing the connector on the front casing to enhance ergonomics and eliminate pressure points. That decision sparked a complete internal redesign, led by our California-based acoustic engineering team.

The result?

• Up to 22dB of passive noise attenuation, thanks to a combination of Freebit® ear-interfaces, soft silicone ear gels, and premium Comply™ T-100 memory foam tips.

• A fit that rivals custom-molded IEMs, without the high price tag.
